I've been offered the chance of an RRS Mayfair Edition. Can anyone shed any light on what makes it different? I'm assuming it's only badges and trim? Been told their was only 25 ever made, but not sure if this is correct?

Not sure about the Sport, but the fullfat Mayfair was a limo- stretched by about 600 mm, panoramic roof, aircraft rear seats, etc. quite pricey I would imagine. Maybe the sport version is similar

Yeah, I found some info on the Vogue Mayfair Edition...it's quite a beast. The one pic I've been sent so far it looked 'standard size' (or at least the proportions looked right....so I hope it's not stretched in any way.

You might be right though....a stretched sport....hmmm........might as well just buy a vogue

Was this a L/R special edition or an aftermarket special edition 25 off sounds a small limited edition quantity by L/R.

Seems weird though that it's popped up twice. I'm going to try and contact my local dealer to see if they can help shed some light.

I've also however found reference to 25 Mayfair Limited Edition RRS's being made (which are not stretched)... On a google search I found links to old ads for number 2 (Sold by Saxtons) and number 24 (Auto Trader)... The latter I was able to get to the cached copy of... Hopefully the link will work...

As it seems these cars were originally sold through Stratstones of Mayfair it might be worth a call to them to see what they can add?

Brilliant....thanks for your help. It does exist then!!! Thanks goodness it's not stretched......I don't think I fancy that idea! Looks quite nice inside....looks like piano black with badging on the console an contrasting stitching in the leather...
