Don't think mine came with a sock, if it did I'm not using it.

Had the same on my Focus RS.. you'd never know after a short while of it being off, but I bought one of the wheel covers (sock as you call it) anyway for I think about £4.50 from Disklok themselves. Really takes seconds to slip over, mine lived in my door pocket when not on the wheel.. others have used an old pillow case.

Just like the spate of RSes going missing via the same ODB means... £100 and "slight inconvenience" to secure a £25k (in the RS case) car should really be a no brainer.. and seeing as RRs are a damn sight more expensive than the RS, then I doubt you could put a price on the "inconvenience". As I was primarily the only one in my car, mine lived in the passenger footwell when not in use, or behind the passenger seat when I did have anyone else in the front.

I'll be getting one for my 58 plate RRS when it comes back from having some work done to it (unfortunately the 'small' size for the RS was too small for the RR) as it's a great visual deterrent IMO and AFAIK, none of the Focus RSes that went missing were equipped with one.

Flippin' heck guys!! Do I take it that these cars are being stolen that often then?

If so, what are JLR doing about it and how are they managing to steal them so easily...? MY14 RRS2, Corris, Pano, 50/50 Cirrus/Black leather, Meridien sound, 22" Style 6's, Bespoke Gap around tailgate.

Ian have you tried the small on the sport? I've just orderered another one but I presumed small would fit; out of the country so couldn't measure it. Is it medium we need then?

Yeah, I tried my small, on my sport and it didn't fit so sold it on. Will be getting a medium shortly for it.
