Wooden door trim wrapped.

Wrapped the rear door trims today. I would have done the front as well had I ordered the right quantity!!

I know carbon wrap isn't to everyone's taste but £20 v £400 certainly is to mine!!!

Seeing as I didn't order enough wrap, got around to putting side repeaters on and Hawke Vents.

looks smart mate. just out of interest how did you get those grills off. i have watched a video and it it says lift clips but looking at mine there seems to be a rubber cover surround covering the clips and i didnt want to break them

I did passenger side first. Just gave it a good yank from bottom. Drivers side much easier.

Just give them an almighty tug from the bottom. You think you'l break them, but they come out. Did mine over the weekend. 2006 HSE for Sale - £7,499 (Manchester)

Hi Nick, I just got it off eBay. Get the 3m stuff and get a bit extra to practice with.
It's a cheap way to see if it suits before splashing out on full carbon

Surprisingly easy. Stick it to the surface and then a hairdryer to wrap edges.

I watched this link first. Although I'd done some on my audi, this was great for RR door trims.

Finished off the centre console today.
Will see how long the wrap lasts on the curves on the doors.
Quite happy with the look especially for about £20 and 2 hours work!

Hi guys, too some inspiration from this thread and wrapped mine but I can't now sort out the door lock. Any help?

How do I put the trim back on with the lock?

there is only one mechanism you need to hook back on. you must have unclipped it to take the trim out so you should know which one. have you seen this  07 TDV8 + BAS map
