United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue

Hate to think how much that package of work, and the turbo, was if you had to pay out of warranty.

Fingers crossed that your RRS is now sorted for some time to come. Range Rover - 4.4SDV8 Autobiography - Corris and Black
MY12 SDV6 HSE - Buckingham Blue and Ivory leather - NOW GONE

It beggars belief they let out of the garage as it was. Seems strange you hadn't detected the wayward steering before. If any part of suspension is disturbed it would be logical to make sure it is set up or you will be throwing tyres at it. The oddity that is LR dealership....🔫 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

The steering was not wayward when I dropped it in to them to get the turbo sorted. They managed to Censored it when taking the body off/putting it back on as far as I can tell. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Compressor - £500 + fitting
Rack - no idea but I'd bet it's over £500 + fitting
Steering column - no idea but guess £100 + fitting
Turbo - £2k each + fitting. And it's had 4 of them in 3 months...! 2 of those have been LR parts warranty replacements
2 weeks of Freelander2 hire car use - £500?

Warranty - 12 months including LR Assist - £1200.

I've kept the warranty going since I bought the RRS 3 years ago and every year it's paid out more than it cost. Bow down 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

That sounds about right. Price of a steak dinner on them trapping lower column when dropping body back on. Been there and done that with Disco Whistle 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

And this morning I found that the screen wash pipes had been put back on incorrectly so that the front one worked when the rear was selected and vice versa. A 10 minute job for them to sort out. They got the technician to phone me and apologise... Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Do these people have monkeys working for them? Most decent mechanics test everything before letting a car out. Best go round and check your nuts just incase Whistle Rolling with laughter 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
