Can you get a 2014 update DVD for the 2006 model? If so, where from (Tried ebay - No luck), if not, whats the newest update available?

Help appreciated as I seem to be getting no-where with my online search, unless im being thick as  2006 HSE for Sale - £7,499 (Manchester)

My vehicle is a Sport 2007 and I find myself in the same situation, ditched by Land Rover.
The following note is an official reply from Land Rover Customer Services UK.
Nav Tec advise that they have all the material for the latest DVD, but await the go ahead from Land Rover, which is not forthcoming.
Any suggestions how one can purchase direct from Nav Tec??

Suggest contact Nav Tec. Go to their web site, there is a UK Telephone Number. The staff at Nav Tac are most helpful. It is my opinion that the last DVD issued by Land Rover 2011/2012 will work in your 2006. Good Luck. The new motorways in Ireland are not on the 2011/2012 disc.
You purchase the DVD direct from Nav Tac.

the older Freelander 2 used to use DVD satnav disc

some found that the Satnav Disc for the Volvo XC60 worked

I know the FL2 & RRS discs are not interchangable, but will another car brand disc work in the RRS, one that is updating the discs

they all use Navtech so its possible

Just thinking out loud but can the 06 DVD unit be replaced for a different unit, or is it specifically coded for the RRS?
