Just looking for a bit of advice, I'm thinking of buying a Range Rover sport, I've previously owned a full fat and a discovery 3, I'm looking to spend upto £15k (may stretch for the right vehicle) I'm aware of the Land Rover issues on the tdv6/td6 but really fancy a tdv8 but after browsing the forum it seems they have turbo issues? I served my time at landrover when I left school but that was just before the tdv8 was releasesd, any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance 😄

I'd steer clear of the TDV8 at that price point. It's likely to be at the age where warranties become limited. Unless you can find one that's had lots of stuff sorted out already. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I could stretch the budget but whatever I buy I expect to be around the 80-100k mile mark. What is the common problems with the tdv8? I assume everything else is the same problems between the tdv6/tdv8 like bottom arms etc? Cheers
