Dickie.....

Just so you know... The template the black lettering comes with doesn't quite match the spacing on the new RRS...

So best make your own template from the existing lettering before you remove the old ones...

In fairness... Vipers dealer is not replacing the lettering... it's the body shop... still petty though...

So if you're doing this yourself..... one tip I can give you... is safe removal of the old letters is best done with

dental floss !!! Shocked

The car is getting picked up from body shop on monday and going back to the dealer ship and they are going to do lettering and badges there not the body shop good luck dickie good advice from andman Thumbs Up 2016 bmw x5 40d m-sport space grey

andman car is back from body shop so its going to be ready to collect on saturday going up on friday to drop the black letters and badges off so they can be fitted will try to get a picture then but will take some on saturday when its all finished Thumbs Up 2016 bmw x5 40d m-sport space grey

Out of interest, where did you get the black badges from? I like the Silver letters on my Causeway Grey car, but the green badge on the grill and boot does get on my nerves a little!! Now

Looking Thumbs Up you glad you went with the Indus over the Fuji?
The black badges / lettering makes all the difference and having the lower sills etc done finishes it off quite nicely, only another 7-8 weeks to wait for mine, methinks it's going to be a great Christmas 2015 HSE SDV6 Scotia Grey, ebony / lunar, colour coded, deployable steps, TV, sliding pano and a few other bits. Now gone
