Should have had my car by now, it's been delayed since the end of Sept, due to what JLR call additional quality checks, when asked what checks no one seems to know. Anyone else experience this issue? Getting quite frustrated as mine has been on order since Jan 14! MY2014 RRS Autobiography in Corris Grey, Black contrast roof and Cirrus interior, adaptive lights and side steps.

Quality Control post build used to be 2 weeks (was for my first RRS), but my dealer informed me that current cars are now 3 weeks QC. I'm in the same boat now as my Supercharged has been built - just waiting confirmation its en route to the dealership. SOLD - 15 plate Estoril SVR

Three weeks? What are they doing, waiting for the paint to dry?

Ball park, there's 400+ cars being built every day - when I visited Solihull, there was one coming off the line every 97 seconds so even that's a low guess. The rate of value creation at Solihull is just incredible.

There's real pressure to get the built cars out so if there are delays, it's got to be down to parts shortages.

In the early days of Evoque production, there were so many cars with parts missing they erected marquees for the final assembly and employees couldn't park on-site because their spaces were taken up with a part-built Evoque. Mark
