Lol, I wish it were true, no I run a superyacht for rich Russian folks, I have a 4g wifi sim that loves Europe but when in Montenegro hooks on to Serbia!!! Ouch!!!

you could run a sat phone for less than that or one of the international sims, or if your there regular why not just get a local sim and a second phone or duel sim phone

Yup, here's a few. 1st was back in summer in Malta, 2nd the deckhand took from the chase boat and last just taken sat in Rome getting into winter mode!

My 4G vodaphone sim works fine everywhere, it's just when I go " out of Europe zones", still they can afford it!

i guess the 11k bill is small fry compared to what that monster would cost to hire and i assume the company you work for will pick up the tab for the phone

Seeing as my fuel consumption is 1100 litres per hour feeding the 4400 horses, yeah the phone bill is small really.
And it's 70k a week but that's Euros not £
