Just wondering without the Tax disc what will happen to all the companies that make tax disc holders and the people that sell them, and have a load in stock now the Tax disc is gone. Was looking for some bits and saw them on the Hawk site, thought not much use for that now Java Black 2007 TDV8 HSE (my first RRS)

RNLI shop at Tenby last week had them described as "Parking Permit Holders"

i would say a quick re-brand like says above permit holders etc
seen a really nice idea for the ones we've got in at the moment though lots of the lads are using them to display remembrance poppies in only the dead truely know peace,

Some muppets are trying to sell their old tax discs on ebay...

Film companies buy them to stick in cars for more realism depending on what year the movie is set in.

With all the technology these days they can just scan/photoshop any existing tax disc and save themselves a few quid.

The one is for a VW and cost £30 and he's now trying to sell it at £35 after its run out.......so by my calculations my tax disc is now worth about £600

Better get it on ebay quick

Today I collected all my old tax discs together (found 20 so far) and laid them out. One thing I didn't know is that there are only 4 colours! I thought there were more!
They didn't look as impressive as I thought, so doubt I will be mounting them in a picture frame in the study!

ahh yes the tax disc I can see in years to come maybe worth holding on to, but what about the thousands of holders, the boy racing chavs with aluminium holders for dodgy disc, and all the other variants available, there maybe a few thousand with round permits and these can be used for these, and 10 movies as pointed out above, but there must be hundreds of thousands of tax disc holders, the people that make them must employ people for this, people that sell them, this must have an impact across the board, when the end of Tax disc was decided were all these other factors taken into account, just a thought on the larger impact of No tax disc. Just a note I'm not a tax disc holder maker or seller, just a thought that came to mind Java Black 2007 TDV8 HSE (my first RRS)
