Hi All,

Recently purchased an older Cairns Blue RRS.

Last vehicle an Audi and my wife loved so much the amount I spent on Mods and all the time I spent out in the garage!!!

I love the RRS already, and as the wife is 8 months pregnant and a little "irritable ", I'm faced with a dilemma.

There are a few mods I want to do, and like the Hawke styling bundles.

Question is do I go with chrome on the Cairns Blue that I doubt the wife will notice and therefore have a happy home, or go for the Matt black which will eventually result on the need for a new set of black alloys that she will notice, and get a bit of aggro!!!

I'm undecided! Either way I'm changing the alloys as mine has the crappy 18." 5 spoke. I've found a nice set, and if I don't get them blacked I'll get Away without her noticing!!!!

I do like the chrome, untill I saw a really nice cairns blue with all Matt black!

Any advice?

Please don't go chrome

Youe Mrs will be far too busy with the new arrival to notice any mods on your vehicle, so get it all done while she is in hospital having the baby.
Remember, it easier to say sorry than ask permission.

I hear ya. It looked awesome in black.

I'm working on several excuses..... I will sell the old 18" 5 spoke alloys and recoup some. (Unlikely as unpopular).

I'm also planning the excuse that I got the new alloys with tyres, cheaper than new tyres!!!

I'll probally then just plasti dip them myself.

Did my audi alloys in gunmetal and they looked amazing.
