In the last couple of days my RRS wont start unless I hold the key up against the steering column as shown on the instrument display! Keyless lock/unlock works fine and I have tested both keys and get same results! Its as if the car isnt scanning for the key within the car! Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know if theres a way to reset it?

hi topocat. Strange you mention that as mine has done it twice in the past week. The car is now 6 months old, & until last week it has worked perfectly. Haven't solved it yet as the fault is too intermittent to take to dealers. What concerns me bit is if the problem escalates will I be locked out of car.

pko - Mine is constant now, just booked her into the dealers for next Monday to let them sort it out! Will post an update on their findings/fix incase you or anyone else ends up with it.

At least its not stopping me from driving it........ then I'd be really be upset

Keyless start function now resolved, apparently an error in the RFA module which needed to be reprogrammed! All working nicely now and a great all round service by the local dealer
