Do they all come from the same place (originally I mean), as I see they all have almost identical bases - or are you mounting them yourself?

no, the 3 RR Classics are made by IXO, the 2 RR L322 are made by Corgi Vanguard, the Series 3 is made by Universal Hobbies, the 2 RRS are by Ertl and I'm not sure who made the defenders.

The pewter RR Classic is made by Boston Mint. L319 D4 HSE

actually my desk is amazingly messy, I just cleared a space to take the picture. You would not believe the amount of stuff I have on my desk...papers, bills, mugs, mp3 players, cameras, models, telephones, external hard drives, printer....and it goes on! L319 D4 HSE

Adam - my collection is so very similar ( except for the defenders )

I have recently managed to aquire this RR classic from IXO ..... it came in the post all the way from Australia

As for the 70th birthday collection I am doing for my dad - I am up to approx 24 cars now ..................... just need to locate/select the most appropriate display cabinet/case to house them all .

When I eventually complete this monumental task - I shall post some pics to celebrate
