United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Well I finally got around to investigating properly and I discovered that the brake lights sometimes came on when I touched the pedal and sometimes not. On the times when they did not, the warning light/transmission/suspension fault disaster occured. On closer examination, sometimes there was an audible click from inside the brake light switch, sometimes not.

So I changed the switch, which must be the easiest job there is on an RRS, just a twist fit. And, everything is fine!!! Whilst at the dealer, I bought new clips to secure the tow bar electics cover too. So much better than cable ties.

Black Bess is back to her former glory. Thank you SC Davies who recommended the switch from the very beginning.

What a wonderful forum...

Cheers
Adam..
