Hi, need some advice before I get ripped off by my garage!
Over the last couple of weeks, I have had the battery warning light staying on, but it does go out under heavy load or acceleration. The point it goes out seems to be happening at a higher load than a few weeks ago. The only other concurrent issue has been failure of the remote keys? I have to get in through the passenger door most days, although they do work every now and then. Not an actuator problem as dash button works fine to lock and unlock.
Apart from that, no other electrical issues. Headlights sting and bright, heated seats nice and warm etc! I don't seem to have any low voltage issues at all, apart from the keys. Starts strong everyday too.

Plus many other non landrover, including BMW and Audi, neither of which satisfy as much as a range rover - when it's working properly!

Alternator IS on the way out.... It's intermittent now, but will quickly deteriorate and quite possibly take your battery with it.

What voltage is it at when lights and heated seats are on?

Locking issue could be related or a chaffed wire for the remote sensor. Bodsys Brake Bible
