[Wanted] looking to buy HSE 08 v8 or 09 v6

Hi all,

I am looking to buy my first RRS. I am after either an 08 3.6 V8 or the newer style 09/59 3.0 V6, has to be HSE variant too. if anyone could help I would appreciate it

cheers in advance

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

its all a matter of choice

3.6 tdv8 quicker IMO and sounds great with the v8
interior a little dated but if you get one with the right colour combo i.e black or grey with ivory and piano black wood interior i think you got a pretty good looking car

3.0 tdv6 facelift model ,looks great but not a v8 no matter what anyone says

the difference in price can be substantial

it really depends on you your budget ,test drive both and then make up your mind ,the last thing you want to do is rush in and buy the first car you see ,but remember no matter how well you do your home work be prepared for some expensive running costs , when they are running well they are the complete car but when they play up man oh man ,best of luck

my car : 08 3.6 tdv8 in black

This is totally subjective but I believe that I have the best of both worlds, even though it is somewhat at the expense of economy and I dread having the problems that some have had with turbo's etc. but a MY2010 TDV8 has the updated interior and V8 smooth power. I am sure that an SDV8 is a great car but it was outside my budget.

Certainly is subjective and you'll get a variety of opinion. For what its worth I was looking at exactly the same choice and went '09 TDV8 (black with ivory / zebrano interior).

Ultimately you need to drive both and decide which feels right for you, not anyone else.

The V8's can have the well known turbo faults but the V6's have quite a few problems as well, for me it's V8 all the way, but everybody to there own, good luck with what ever you deside.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current
