275/45-20's photo?

Anyone got a picture of their Sport with these tyres fitted? I'd like to know whether it's more aethetically appealing than running on 40's!

Mine is fitted with 275/45/20 kumho ecstas. Not much different to look at to standard 275/40s but slight improvement in ride and slightly better wheel rim/kerb protection. When i stood my tyres side by side there was about an inch difference in the height, so only approx 1/2 inch extra side wall

It's not a massive change then but it does fill the arches a little better! My Continentals are getting worn and was wondering whether to go to the slightly larger size or not!

Have you changed your spare tyre as well or are you going to rely on the "get you home",sizes are slightly different

I might go for the 45's afterall; I touched the kerb when taking evasive action when a dopey driver decided to not to stop at a junction! Another few marks on the wheel rim! Sigh!

Here's my RRS (SDV6, 3.0l) on its nbew General Grabber AT's; look pretty mean and so far just the merest suggestion of a hum at speed, and I'm not sure if I am imagining it. Hopefully will not get noisier with age; I was surprised that these look like real AT's - not just a rich-man's 4WD excuse for AT's. They add a bit of beef to the car and hopefully will protect the rims better than the old Scorpion Zeros. "MISTY" 2013 Orkney Grey 3.0 HSE Lux.
"Ruby" Rimini Red TDV6, Veteran of three or four desert crossings, Skytrek, and three messy children. Gone but never forgotten.
Freelander 1 TDi, gone.
"Nala" 1964 Se2a SWB 2.25 petrol.

Australia 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Hi Bentleighboy.

I'm running the exact tyres as you on my 2013 SDV6 (275 x 40 x20). Agreed, they are surprisingly quiet on the highway. I've done some work with them cruising around on station tracks in the mid north of SA and I was quietly impressed. I took it very easy being all to aware of the lack of rubber between the track and the rim, which I think might be the best approach.

It's not my intention to do any serious "off roading", so here's hoping that they prove to a good compromise. Certainly hope so, as they allow me to stay with factory tyre specs.

Regards,
Lew.
