You seem to not want to go to the police and report this instead your typing away on the internet about how hard done by you are and this very strange happenings

You are not going to get the car back or money or help catch those that have done this to you by been on here Rolling Eyes

I'm starting to think that you are wanting to keep the police out of it For one reason or another Confused

couple of points you may or may not know..

what colour V5 did you get from the seller? it should have been red and not blue.
where did you post the change of ownership to? DVLA Swansea SA99 1AR

if you had a Blue V5 from seller and posted it to anywhere other than above, it was fake! 5.0 Ltr Superchrged RRS2, Chile Red, Sideways out of junctions!
TDV8 HST Stornaway on a 08.. remapped.. now gone and replaced, was a mighty fine car..

I am truly staggered by these turn of events, first the elaborate scam, and then the victims attitude, are we being trolled here? 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))

I have just came back from the Police station.

I told the whole story to the officer in the police station and her reply was the same.

She basically said there is no information with the Thames Valley Police. I will need to speak to the officer who took the car away. She confirmed the person who took my car away is an actual officer and not Fake after I showed her the card. She also said it's not necessary that they will give me anything to sign or document anything. She guess it was the metropolitan polices' instruction to ask the Thames Valley Police to take the car away.

The most ridiculous thing is that don't have a direct number for the Met, I will have to dial 101.

This is pretty much the same feedback I had from the number I called before.

I will call the Met tomorrow and see if I can find out anymore and update on here.

The is a real thing and I haven't made this up. I am not a regular visitor from the police nor I want to be, that's why I put it up for the hope of some advise. I took the advise and already went to the local police station but didn't get any positive feedback. I can only confirmed those who took my car away were official police according to the officer from the station tonight.

I care about my car and money of cause which is why I post on here, hoping this will alert other people and see if this happened to anyone. I am not bored and lonely so please if you are not trying to help, then just read and not comment.

Thanks to those with honest advise.

I think the V5 was blue and not red, but I can't remember which address I posted to. It was to DVLA Swansea but can't remember the postcode

The only reason why I didn't go to the police since last Wednesday is because the officers who took the car away asked me to wait and there is nothing I could do.

I was told the Met may or may not contact me

Chisin669,

When you dial 101 you have the option to select a certain force.
Or you could just ring the Met Police direct: 020 7230 1212

here is my advice on this matter, ring your Insurance company, and ask them where your car is, they have the means to locate the vehicle for you, as all vehicles siezed by the police, recovery trucks and even clampers have to input the data onto a central database that the Insurance companies have access to.Then take it from there 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))

For someone who has just lost £23,000 AND a RRS you are taking it well mate. You say the cops showed little interest in where or who you purchased the car from, even although they know/must assume that it is cloned and that the seller could be part of a group stealing and cloning cars or at the very least a fraudster, selling a vehicle he knows to be stolen. That to me doesn't sound right.

You go down the local cop shop and they look at the card these two police officers gave you and verify the guys are real cops. Then her next step would have been to contact them and book a time for you to meet them and discuss the situation.........but this didn't happen.

Thames Valley police do not have a contact number for the Met....Really?

You have been in this guys home the one who sold you the car, so you know his address......yet at no time since this happened have you went around to his house or even phoned asking him what the score is?

Sorry but If your story isn't a wind up, I think you need to have a check to see if your balls haven't been nicked along with your dosh and car. That guys house is the last place you saw your £23000.....Get round there! Thumbs Up 2010 RRS TDV6 3.0 Autobiography - Stornoway Grey

Seriously, if this isn't a wind up then your naivety astounds me!

And if it is genuine, I cant believe you haven't been back round his house, as soon as the "police" left my house I would be straight round there along with as many mates as I could round up demanding my money back or at least finding out if he is still living there.

Something just doesn't add up to me with this story
