A remap may not help - lots of comments about pulling away from a near standstill; possibly through the gearbox getting confused.

Hi Joep
If you insist on getting 'that' gap just knock it into 'sport' mode and lock 1st gear in. Or use the paddles for the same effect. Because of the great torque the car doesn't use 1st a lot of its own accord, mostly only on command. Rod SDV6 (14.5) Corris Grey NZ Spec + door mouldings, mud flaps and tow bar

Hi, Thinking of getting MY10 3.0 TDV6 mapped. What improvements have you experienced all together and what did it cost you?

Cheers

Superchips

I had a chat with Superchips On Friday. They are close to a remap for the SDV6, but they need a car for 3 or 4 days to complete it. If I was not going over seas for 6 months I would look at this.

So any one interested?

You would get a big discount on the price of the map and would get a car to drive.

They have done maps for the previous Sport and FFRR inc the L405. That has just over 300 hp and 650 odd torques.

Have a look at their website for details of what they have done and power graphs.

A lot to ask for a new car to be away for 3/4 days but you never know.

Thing is they would need to remove the ECU, which would have an impact on the warranty. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool

Yes they at the moment need to remove the Ecu. Like a lot of cars , the tuners will soon be able to do it direct to OBD port.

Yes any modifications will/could effect your warranty if JLR want it to.

Larger wheels, more load on the wheel bearings for example. But if your sun roof stopped working and you had the engine chipped would they refuse the claim? They could, depends on your dealer.

Modifying is a risk that some are prepared to take, some are not.
