Front wishbones/bushes question

Hi all,

I need to replace my "front wishbone, rear bush" ... Can someone please advise if these can be purchased singly or are they a complete unit "whole arm"?

Cheers, Saty

You can replace just the bush, but invariably, the bolts need cutting out. And once repaired, the other bush or ballpoint will be failing soon.

The whole front lower arm is about £120 istr which includes both bushes and ball joint.
You will need new bolts and make sure you copperslip them to make it easier for next time! Bodsys Brake Bible

If you are paying someone else to do the job, is works out cheaper to cut the arm off, and replace the whole thing as a complete unit. The bolts are a hardened steel, and can take a long time to cut through. And then the time to replace the bushes

At least with replacing complete arms, it comes with 2 new bushes, and a new ball joint on each side Thumbs Up

Wishbones can be had for £100 per side, for a known good brand, and another £20 or so for a new set of bolts and adjusting washers Thumbs Up
