spare wheel poser

hi , I have 22" onyx amethyst wheels on my 2008 tdv6 sport , when trying to fit the the spare ( a normal rr alloy ) it would not sit on the hub as seems the spare centre hub hole was 1 or 2 mm smaller than the hub !!! so question is , is the spare the wrong one , i.e from a range rover . freelander , discovery ?? does anyone know if the sport and range rover have differing size hubs ?? all I want is a get me home spare seems I need a 255 50 19 !! any ideas people please ????

thanks

Surely if the rolling radius is the same it would make no difference

Post a pic and we might be able to help you identify the wheel.

Also, the spare wheel winch, youi need to ensure that the cable is sitting in the recess of the T piece otherwise it wont fit. One side has a recess, the other doesn't. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

I could be wrong (highly likely Laughing ) but that spare doesn't look like a RR wheel style I recognise Confused ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

well I hope your right as that would mean if I were able to find a get me home wheel it could be the correct centre bore I need and fit and be the end to this annoying saga Smile

I don't think it looks right...... Perhaps its a Freelander2 wheel, but doesn't look like a normal RRS wheel that I know (unless it's one of the latest ones?) Bodsys Brake Bible

am sure I am missing something here .......... I measured the centre hole on the alloy spare I have here and I reckon its 48 mm ish but I am told rrs centre bore is 72.6 !!! I would say that when trying to fit this spare on it was only a mil or 2 small not 24 odd !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
