United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Santorini Black

An hour to take out all 6 injectors is time consuming, and expensive?

If a compression test shows up nothing, the injectors are already out to be sent away for testing.

If there is low compression, the injectors have to come out to have the cam cover/cylinder head off.

And how much does it cost to get six injectors tested?

Is it not better just to get one bad one refurbished?

You also have problems with re sealing the injectors, dirt ingress into the diesel system. Mess, what if something brakes?getting them out if they are stuck In.

Which ever way you look at it if you can determine a fault with a car with out taking it apart.

That is better than taking it apart to the determina fault.

if it's engine related the chance of it being left with you for repair that day would be slim. You would be putting it back together.

Just to add to the list of problems (not sure if its related) the cars sat for a few days and i went to turn it over and it really struggled, really weak cranking then eventually gave up.
It was Censored down so i never checked the battery but i don't think it was flat

You have to have the injectors tested, to find out which one is faulty...
EDIT: There is the option to view the injector compensations via the diagnostics, but the OP has not mentioned having had this done. Over and above this, I have been in the position in the past where the car was showing 1 injector fault. This was replaced, and the fault moved to the next most worn injector. This continued until all 6 had been replaced, hence the suggestion to have all 6 tested at the same time

To reseal the injectors, you use a new copper washer...

When the fuel system has been disturbed, all open connections should be capped to prevent dirt ingress. Explicitly stated in most repair instructions issued by LR

the op wants to find out what is wrong with his car,

the cheapest and easiest way is how i mentioned above, smooth running evaluation and a leak back check.

to remove six injectors, send them away for testing @ £30 - £50 per unit. is not a cost effective way of telling the op what is wrong with his car.
its arguable that any injector out of car with a few miles on it is going to show signs of wear and be slightly out of cal. to refubish 6 injectors is costly.
