Hi all

Just thought it worth sharing the latest repair on my RRS. New ball joints, been getting a feeling like something was moving about via the steering wheel when on full lock but no noises. Already had all the bushes done over the past 6 months. Had the ball joints replaced and made the world of difference, worth getting them checked if you are having ARB or wishbone issues as wear in those parts seems to have masked the issue with the ball joint.

Also worth checking the jubilee clips on the inter cooler pipes, felt a drop in power over the past week and discovered the pipe clip had worked lose over time so it was losing boost pressure - simple 2 minute job and all is back to normal.

Car has done 75k (58 plate) so looks like this mileage is the time for some big bills, had both suspension legs, lower wishbone bushes, ARB bushes (and clamps) plus ball joints all in the past 5k. Worth considering if you are looking to buy a second had RRS that age - check what has been done as all together this lot mounts up! TDV8 Java Black, Overfinch 22s
