2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Rear dvd screen remote

Bought a 2006 sport hse last week. Only just had it back from garage this weekend, as it went in straight away to be colour coded. Been a busy weekend fitted side steps, new grills, chrome bits and painted calipers red. Then I found remote in centre console which doesn't seem to do anything. DVD is playing on rear screens and on dash but cannot be controlled by remote. Batteries changed red light flashing on top of remote. Changer in boot is an Alpine. Any help appreciated.

Have you checked if there is a little infra red cable run to your dash somewhere? If the system uses one it may have fallen or is covered up with something!

if its an oem unit have you set the switch on back of remote to either left or right..sensor is on edge of screens in rear

hi, seems ive got the same problem.I have the 10MY 3.0 HSE with factory fitted RSE 6 changer in rear quarter panel. The remote don't work.I cant understand that the hand book says that only the range rover vogue,not the range rover sport has a remote. Can someone veryfy this? itisme

I have factory fit DVD with a 6-player in the boot and I do have a remote, it works fine. Wireless headphones would be great but you can plug in iphone headphones and even Hello Kitty work.

After a few days of trying to get it to work, I've tried 3 sets of brand new Kodak batteries the red led has been flashing, I thought I give Duracell a go and it now bloody works!! Thanks for the replies!!
