Hi guys

My first post here, I've been lurking for a few days after looking for some advice on buying my first RRS.
I've found one locally that has caught my eye. It's a 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE. 55k. Stornaway grey, black leather. Full service history and just had the belts done on last service and pads and disks. Great condition and currently have a a few minor bumper scrapes sorted and few chips on drivers door edge.2 previous owners. They are asking £16k.

It's a private seller and the car is also in jersey.
How does this sound to you guys?

Maybe a 500 to grand over but the miles are nice and low and it's local. If you like the car, have checked it out and it is what you want, it's not worth a nickel and dime fight. If you lose it, you may not find another local one as nice with low miles. Whether it's house or cars, haggling over a few hundred just isn't productive either way. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

I think the price seems really good for that mileage if the condition is excellent

Then again I'm always dubious of the cheapest ones, as with anything there is a bracket for a cars value rather than an exact amount.

Living in Jersey your choice is going to be limited i guess. I'm not surprised its only done 55000 miles living on such a small Island Nor am i surprised its got a few bumps and scrapes, with the roads being so narrow. I'd offer them 15k if you bear in mind the the market for a big vehicle on such a small Island. I would imagine it being a small one. Good luck.

Go. Looking around at what's available here it's dosnt seem to bad a deal. I just wanted some opinions form ppl who know what there talking about

Ady 555 you would be surprised at the amount of range rovers over here an larger vehicles I would say 1 in every 3 cars is a 4x4/SUV lol
