Wonder if anyone can confirm which Castrol Magnatec Engine Oil I should be using in my Sport 2006 2.7TD.
When I got it I had a 1litre bottle that had been used to top it up and it was the 5w 30 Magnatec Vauxhall spec oil which I confirmed with the chart in Halfords.
The car has had a couple of oil changes with this oil ,but now I am being told it should be the Ford spec oil. Can anyone help here ,I have enough Vauxhall oil lying for another oil change as I bought it on offer.

Or what oils are others using.

Get it from amazon it's a lot cheaper than in the stores.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Obviously I have used the 5w 30 Magnatec Vauxhall Spec is this likely to have had any effect or is there much difference between the two.
As I said as far as I know (as I knew the guy who owned the car before me) the last few oil changes have been done with this oil so hopefully no damage done.
