Those wheels are fake Overfinch "Supersport"alloys.

With it being from Stratstone, I'm pretty certain they're not allowed to sell a vehicle with so-called aftermarket alloys fitted.

How do you know they are fake? Should I ask dealer to replace with original alloys??

Two reasons why they are fake:

1. They should have an Overfinch stamp on one of the spokes

2. The wheel centre badge says Land Rover, and this is the biggest tell-tale; the genuine Overfinch wheel centres are a different diameter to fakes hence they have to fit fake centre caps to go with the fake wheels.

I would ask them to replace them, yes, I'm very surprised that a franchised dealer like Stratstone would even attempt to sell a vehicle with fake wheels, the same fake wheels that Overfinch themselves are trying to eradicate by chasing the sellers of these wheels under copyright laws.

I will definatly flag that up, if they won't replace I will ask for £1000 off price to source some original wheels myself. Cheers people.

Are the replicas considered weak? Or just a shame to tarnish a nice car with fake alloys??

The biggest problems with fakes is that they are made to a price for those not willing to buy the originals ergo made cheaper.

Now there's a few areas I'll try and save a few quid with regards motor ownership but not the four lumps of metal that are holding a 2.5 ton 4x4 up!

I doubt the dealer will drop £1k - if he don't - see if there's another Sport on the forecourt with original RR alloys - I had replica 22 Stormers - a bag of Censored all 4 had cracks Big Cry

Oh and just see if they'll swap them over you mean? Yeah I had a set of RS6 replicas on my TT, and 2 buckled and 1 cracked within 6 months !! Hurrendous issues! Never again!

I had an issue with the turbo actuator valve that had to be replaced under warranty within 7 weeks of collecting the car. Then recently the battery was faulty, i had to argue and throw all my toys out of the cot to get it sorted.
I had to constantly call them to find out what was happening. In the end i complained via email to there regional director who got them moving.
Very doubtful whether i would use them again tbh Current 2010 Range Rover Sport HSE with the usual toys: timed climate, Rosen headrest screens, tow bar with twin electrics, Blackvue HD cam
