You are right about LR dealers needing to step up, SWMBO's Beamer blew a turbo the other month, the car was recovered, stripped the next day, problem assessed, BMW warranty informed and the car was ready to be picked up 3 days later. Valleted etc.

This was a 2007 320D on a BMW extended warranty @ �45 per month..well worth the money as the material cost of the mend was �2,400

If that was LR it would be sat in the compound a week before they even looked at it. RRS gone

I suffered a rapid deflation (blow out?) on the near side rear last night. Tyre pressure sensor pinged and then it started fish tailing! Managed not to hit anyone or anything and get onto the hard shoulder of the M26. Was 'interesting' for a few seconds!!
Spent nearly 3 hours waiting for recovery!
Managed to get the wheel off despite no jack, wheel brace etc supplied by BMW and get it repaired this morning!!
A simple space saver would have saved the day! Tight German b******s!
Think this could be bye bye Beemer!! Just got to find an RRS now!!

Im really enjoying the BM at the mo'. Managed to put on 2k miles in the last month and I'm dropping off no. 2 at university next week so its 600 miles in 24 hours Weds/Thurs. So far so good.  FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Hey Bradders, glad you are enjoying the Beemer. I made an even more extreme change in May! Sold the 2014 RRS2 and bought one of the last Mercedes C63 AMG

Made the mistake of going on an AMG day at the local Merc Dealers, awesome, absolute mid life crisis great thing is it eats almost every car on the road barring some Ferarris etc. cheap as chips for super car performance, just need to work on keeping my license and look forward to another RRS in a year or so, dreading October and the Scottish winter, the car will be like the Yes vote, struggling for traction and hoping for the best  MY 2014 HSE Dynamic
