“Unfaded Paint”

The car is two weeks old, there ain’t no faded paint Shocked

Anyway, what about getting the badge in exact position as the original badge. Not to mention perfectly straight.

As the old saying goes……”If a job is worth doing, it’s worth doing well” Or in this case with perfection ! Confused

I suppose people want to go the whole hog.

I draw the line at the side vents and the grille personally and only because they're better looking on a black car than the std HSE parts. If you ask me, putting the SC badge on the back is like putting an M logo on the back of your 318i (and then on the left hand side of the bootlid as I saw on one the other day). As pointless as putting wheels on a tomato Wink

Just thought I'd help get to page 3... with this response Laughing How about sticking the new badge on top of the old, that way it'll be spot on and even create a unique 3d look to it....... it won't look at all Censored

Shocked

Well the front grille comes with a black/silver Land Rover badge. How can you have a black badge on the front & a green one on the rear ?

I know I couldn’t, it’d drive me nuts Shocked

Same goes for changing the wheel centres to the black version of the Land Rover badge.

I do think that the black badges look lovely with Bonatti. Plus they (the black badges) give it that subtle “what’s different about that” look to the car, without being in your face with bling.

I would however cartainly stop short of putting the “Supercharger” badge on the car, as it’s not a S/C, as proved by the “SE” badge.

I agree with you “shmoogle” about the “318i M badge” scenario.

If I had the TDV6 & not my Supercharged I would do exactly the same as all these changes do look better esp on certain colours. My thoughts are if it enhances the look of your car - do it !! Very Happy

For me the coded side vents look better & the exhaust .... well , that should be on everyones list of things to change. The RRS looks so much more meaningful with these. But of course everyone sees things differently - wouldn't the world be boring if we didn't Wink
