Hi folks

First post and asking for help already......

Considering a new RRS but I'm wondering about the rear set. Can it actually seat 3 in comfort? The centre armrest bit looks hard. I've got two lanky older kids (11 and 15) and an 11 month old who is now in a forward facing child seat - is it likely to be possible to accommodate all 3 in the back? Don't like the look of the extra 2 rears option - cramped and worryingly close to the rear of the car in a rear end shunt.

I don't think they are drastically different than that on the RRS1, which I use with 3 children. Usable for sure, but the kids do take turns to sit in the middle.

They are 19, 16 and 14 though, and all taller than Mrs philmw.

Anyone know whether it's possible to have Isofix mounting points in the middle bit - so baby seat in middle, big kids either side?

Thanks for checking - as I expected but not ideal

We have a 5 year old sitting in an high-back chair and two 10 year olds on boosters. I elected not to go IsoFix as it allows the seat to budge over when the middle seatbelt is being fitted.

Boosters are about the same width as a teenager so I do not think you'll have any problems.

Thanks Notty. Yes - that's an option - isofix is just so much better than belting in, but if needs must....

Actually thinking of going for full fat now, as assume it should give a little extra width. Intending to try both and see.
