Sorry to bump this. Anyone know if there are different load covers or why mine doesn't seem to fit well.

Brillant. Had a look and discovered the side panel on the offside was slightly looser than on the near side. On stripping it out, discovered that clearly this panel had been off before and half the retaining clips were broken. 3 new clips for a fiver and 20 mins work and the panel is now fitted properly, and the load cover fits better. Not quite as snug a fit as I would expect but better and it doesn't fall down.

I now know why my rear load cover seems a bit short.................. Or should I say the panels are pushed apart.

I've been wondering why mine doesn't seem to fit properly too. I'll have a look to see if a dog guard was fitted at some point.
