My dad was in Germany once with work, he was sitting outside a cafe with a German he was doing business with when a Porsche drove past. My dad commented on it saying it was nice, but the German said they're like bums, every asshole has one Laughing 2002 Discovery Adventurer LE

haha excellent...

Yeah i imagine in Germany Audis/Porsches are what RRS' are to us.. everywhere.. although luckily the price prohibits all the assholes from picking them up here, whereas the older X5's and cars like the E46 M3 etc are well within £20k target price, so now adopted by youths and thugs, who give the car a bad name..

Thanks for the pics MDP.. i think for £60k though, there is a lot better cars you could pick up, M5 would be too tempting for that much.. or even a new S6 etc,

Ive just got back from my little jaunt round the motorways.. today done 389 miles, and i've spent £60 fuel, so not too bad, did end up crawling a portion of the way back as i was running low on fuel, but the power, the torque is soooo immense.. noone tries to deprive you of the fast lane, and i have never managed to make a fast lane vacate quicker in London as today. My RS4 looks mean, with black grills, and i have DRL turned on, and am not scared to rumble the engine etc to make it heard as well as seen by right lane hoggers! Now on 700 miles exactly, car is tucked away, but it covered in about a billion flies on the front and windshield!.. whats the best way to remove these?

Mini meet then anyone? maybe early August, as this months meet will obviously be the motorshow.

Kam, get yourself some Zaino polish, flies just wipe of very easily when washing with it. It will also give the car an awsome shine (even more so on the black one)

Can't wait to see this at the motor show, Kam. Like RRUK says, reading about it makes you want it all the more... hmmm... I don't want to get rid of the RRS yet really. Wonder how I can couch the proposition to the wife? Wink

Hey guys

I've done about 500 miles in mine and am very pleased with it. Have achieved 23mpg on the motorway at only slightly above the speed limit Wink . Around town though, its down to about 12. It just begs you to put your foot down. Mine will be at the motorshow too, do you fancy a race Kam?? See who has got the gear change perfected! Only joking mate!!

The Zaino stuff for bugs etc? Where would I get some from??

Paul, Zaino is a total polish system, dark colours come up fantastic with it.
The flies just wipe off when you wash it, no hard rubbing.
Check out www.zaino.com and if you want to follow it up pm me and I will give you some pointers of what to buy and where.
