poor radio reception

Hi has anyone had any similar problem? I can get chanels etc but the reception becomes poor if im not local to a station... Its definately not me being too far away as my van picks the signals up fine.

Where would you suggest i start? Sat nav is fine tho.

Thanks

Found this :

Occasionally transmission is affected by planned maintenance work that is carried out at transmitter sites. You may notice that you temporarily lose some stations or the signal strength is reduced (making the signal unreliable) for a while. If you usually pick these stations up without a problem, once the work has been completed ever

I always lose the signal at the exact same place when driving through whitley bay no matter what time of day or night itmay be. I did wonder if the narrow streets and tall buildings where having an effect. 2010 RRS, TDV8

I don't think mines a maintenance issue. I've actually had this prob for the last 12 month or so. Where is the Aerial on our cars? Just had a though I had my car sprayed 18 month ago. Wondering if it wasn't connected back up properley

its built into the rear window. you should be able to see a connection below the window. May be worth checking its connected properly

this is where my AV installer told me my aerial was as the fin on top is for GSM apparently.

There is a connection at the top of each rear window. you need to push the headlining above it up very slightly to see. Its probably hasn't been reconnected. should just plug in if it isn't.
