Blackberry 9300 sync problems

Hi all, I have a 2007 TDV8 & my Blackberry 9300 only goes through to Bluetooth about 10% of the times I get in the car. I have tried resetting the phone many times (it keeps the Landrover words on the paired device fine). Any clues? Many thanks

try down grading or upgrading the blackberry firmware.

or a BT unit software update may help. Although the Landrover words continue to appear on the device, (as it would remember that you have it in the blutooth memory) it doesn't sound as though it's reconnecting, which may be the common issues. OR is it still showing as actually paired?

I can provide a BT module update by post if needed.

You can also make sure your battery (car) is charged and then disconnect the pos and neg cables, short the cables together (not whilst connected to the battery!) for 10 seconds, then reconnect and see if the hard reset fixes the problem.

Thanks Bodsy. yes the Landrover words are still there but pairing (syncing?) only happens occasionally. I will try the shorting the leads bit as I'm sure its the car not the phone Confused
