They are complicated and simple at the same time. If it's reporting problems then they will need stripping and rebuilding.

It can be done without the diagnostic kit, but the diagnostic tools do make it easier |

The EPB does seem to be a "use it or lose it" item. I use EPB all the time and so far, touch wood, it's been fine. Indeed, it's quieter now than when I bought the vehicle. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |
