United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver
Suspension Yellow Light On

In the last year or so had a problem with red and yellow suspension light coming on for a few seconds , message reads max speed 30mph - after few seconds it went away, ride was brieifly harsh and then returned to normal.

It began to annoy me so I decided to get it looked at. My mate is a top mechanic and diagnosed wiring issue between control module and to height sensors ( common problem apparently ) so he cleaned all the connections out, When i went to collect the car started it up after a few seconds this happens

Yellow Suspension Light comes on a stays on - Message says Suspension Fault - the height adjusting switch in the centre consul goes dead and another message says special programs off, drives Ok but yellow light stays on

The car has now gone to a LR Indie for further investigation diagnostics and 1 hour labour (£144.00 ) - codes say suspension control module permeant failure - new one on order ( £495.00 supply, fit code and set up suspension )

being done tomorrow so hope all goes well

Anyone else had the same problem

many thanks - Tony

I have had that error with a height sensor gone, changed the sensor done a recalibration and all was fine... The ecu's do fail but not often, I have had one fail on my own car when I was updating the software, but was fine until I flashed it.

Flack Thumbs Up
