Tyres?

I seem to remember reading a post discussing the merits of Continentals and Pirellis (I think) for RRS 14MY. For the life of me I can't find it on the forum. Anybody tell me where it is? My SE has landed here in Melbourne and I will see it in a couple of weeks so want find out which make of tyre is better. May be able to get the dealer to swap.
Thanks

1983 2 door Range Rover ARB Bar X9000 winch ARB Rear Bar now semi retired.
Many big trips done in this one.
1982 Rangerover nearly restored.
22 Defender D250 with lots of stuff for outback touring
Nice 2013 Freelander TD4 manual (for daughter to learn on) with much better stereo compared with previous SD4 SE with Meridian which sounded bad!
2013 Land Rover Defender ute.

I had Conti's on my MY12 and after 8,000 miles they were true to form and had scrubbed shoulders which were allegedly a feature of the tyre Rolling Eyes . For an RRS I'd go Pirelli if I had the choice Thumbs Up

Conti's are a different beast on my BMW5....loads of grip and no sign of scrubbing with nearly 11k on the clock. Smile ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black

Just wanted to let you all know I have done 20,000 miles on my Continental 4x4 Sport Contacts and still plenty of life. They are 20inch off my Autobiography. I don't exactly hold back on windy roads so i'm staggered the tyres have lasted so well.

I had General Grabber GTs on my TDV8 and was very happy with them, quiet and wore well. The Pirellis were very expensive from what I can remember MY16 AUTOBIOGRAPHY Indus silver with some toys

2012 3.0 SDV6 Luxury gone, but a great motor
