United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver

I have just swapped to 55 profile tyres from the 22" 40s that came on my car.

It still handles well enough for my needs and rides so much better. MY2010 TDV8 purchased Jan 2017
MY14 HSE Dynamic 3.0 SDV6 sold Sept 2015
MY 2010 TDV8 sold April 2014
MY 2007 V6 HSE sold July 2013

Even without switching to Dynamic mode it corners flat with little body roll.

Not sure his others judge the level of roll but for me the exit from the M25 to the M40 N Bound is a good test. The RRS2 passed that test with flying colours inspiring confidence and not worrying the passengers.
I agree I drive to north Wales most weekends mixture of motorway and A road twistes mine is just the hse and I find ime driving it like a hot hatch ime getting to the point I need to just slow it down a bit but it's just good fun 2014/5 rr sport hse, Marianna black , silver roof , silver door mirror caps , privacy , deployable tow bar

Just in case I've caused any confusion - I prefer the ride in the new RRS - the 55 profile is an improvement over the 40 and I noticed a bit more body roll but it's not an issue for me Thumbs Up

Forgot to mention the seats are harder than previous model but so far not caused me a problem with my glass back Confused Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Well got my baby back sorted at last so no more rattling sub, no more pumping up the lumbar every 20 minutes and tailgate lining replaced/fitted properly so have to agree with 362bkr - the new RRS isn't special enough to tempt me Cool

The suspension feels firmer on MY12 and more sporty - I put this down to the Dynamic Very Happy Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

No but I've driven a MY10 onwards Sport, the new RRS is a big step up in quality and refinement over the old one. £20k more? My HSE with options cost £65k, has the BEs dropped to £45k already? Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Chris I had a MY10 up to a year ago and if I still had it I would be buying a RRS2 now Thumbs Up

However I'm very happy with the MY13 - it's a massive improvement on MY10 and with dealers now selling B.Ed for £47k I will continue enjoying mine for a bit longer Shocked Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

I know its not the same but I have a brand new Disco loaner at the moment and I have to say its so agricultural compared to a RRS2. I've never driven a BE 2013 but I cant believe its a spit on a RRS2 dynamic.

I tested a new Disco before we bought the B.Ed and there is no comparison though it is a lot cheaper. I haven't tested a RRS2 Dynamic so can't comment Confused Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Muddy you are either trying to convince yourself , I've just come out of a my 13 BE to a my14 rrs2 hse there is no comparison whist I have no complaints with the BE the compared to the new sport it felt cumbersome and heavy apart from the gap thing that is being addressed IMO the rrd 2 is a far better car in every way Thumbs Up Rob t 2014/5 rr sport hse, Marianna black , silver roof , silver door mirror caps , privacy , deployable tow bar
