Email from LR customer services this morning says that they're not currently aware of any update regarding this matter but will look in to my query re the fix and What Car involvement.

They seem to drawing yet another blank so far though.....Rob...?

BTW - where's that guy (Peter?) who's supposed to be the Land Rover oracle on here...? Is he hiding down some hole somewhere, or what....??!!  MY14 RRS2, Corris, Pano, 50/50 Cirrus/Black leather, Meridien sound, 22" Style 6's, Bespoke Gap around tailgate.

Rob...Would be interesting for you to email Peter at LR CR with the info you were given verbally and see whether he will, or

can confirm that a mod is in fact being proposed....

I can't imagine for a minute you were just being fobbed off......but.....it would be reassuring to have it confirmed from an

Now boys stop getting excited , it was only last Thursday at 3.30 ish when I received the call I did advise to leave it a couple of weeks , lr customer service is a call centre it is outsourced I wouldn't expect them to be aware just yet , if you where to read my posts you will see what I've just said , however if you want to pursue it carry on I am quite comfortable with the conversation I had with mr creek form land rover Another post without censorship rob. Some of the replies to these posts defy belief - you can see the wiring loom through the gap!! And some are saying that it doesn't look like much of an issue...?? What the !!!?? This car is supposed to be able to 'wade' through a metre's depth of water, for 's sake!

Went into dealership today to sign some papers... My car goes into production in 10 days....

Had a look at the 4.4 AB on the showroom floor, first time i've seen the boot gap issue ...

I may not have noticed it had it not been pointed out on this forum .... although I may have as I detail my cars myself.

but now I know it's there... and i've finally seen for myself ,it's a disgrace... it looks so sloppy and affects your overall

perception of the standard of build quality....

The gap on this AB ran the full width of the boot unevenly ...

It is a mess , however I have had email confirmation from jlr exec office that they are working on a new design that once it is done will be fitted to new production and also offered to existing sold cars, what car who helped with my case are following up by coming to my home this morning to do a interview and take some pics so you will all get to see my ugly mug , not the thing I go for but they helped and now want a story so I suppose it's only fair Oh and by the way I watched the film 2014/5 rr sport hse, Marianna black , silver roof , silver door mirror caps , privacy , deployable tow bar
