Rob is saying all sports already sold will be offered a better fitting probably redesigned seal.....

It is not known though exactly how they plan to address the issue though...

Excellent news. I went and looked at mine yesterday and it has the gap now too! It wasn't there a few weeks ago!

Thanks for pursuing this Rob.  Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more...

Hi Rob. I haven't been around for a while and I've missed this until now. Thanks for the acknowledgment and for getting somewhere with this!

...but why haven't I been contacted, I wonder...? The girl who I've been dealing with at LR customer services said that she'd get in touch as soon as the fix was acknowledged & became available. Maybe she's just waiting to see the fix in the flesh herself first (she was very attentive).

Anyway, this all sounds good. I have been somewhat distracted by an 8 month old daughter, a pending house move + the letting of my own home (which we've lived in for 12 years!! ) MY14 RRS2, Corris, Pano, 50/50 Cirrus/Black leather, Meridien sound, 22" Style 6's, Bespoke Gap around tailgate.

Rob, what the are these actually going to do about this - and when??

Some of the replies to these posts defy belief - you can see the wiring loom through the gap!! And some are saying that it doesn't look like much of an issue...?? What the !!!?? This car is supposed to be able to 'wade' through a metre's depth of water, for 's sake!

I hope that I get some positive answers!

Hi gal good to see you back anyway yes you can see the wiring loom but if you went that depth the water would come to the loom over the exhaust , anyway not getting into that coz I ain't that technical and ime sure someone would post something putting me right , firstly lr customer service is outsourced and they where about as useful las tits on a goldfish , it was only Thursday pm when it was put into motion shortly before I got he call so it won't have filtered thru to crc so give it a week or so and then I suppose a little while for the work to be done and stop all that swearing be good rob t 2014/5 rr sport hse, Marianna black , silver roof , silver door mirror caps , privacy , deployable tow bar

Just checked mine again and it does have the gap, I was looking above the boot seal,not below. 2014 Nara Bronze SDV6
