Been on the phone to Road Angel this morning fkarim. They recommend charging the unit for around 12 hours to make sure the battery is topped up.

12 hours Mine didn't come with a mains charger so charge for 12 hours in the car? Not sure it was charging when I connected it to the computer. After drivers were installed on the computer the unit just said "Connected to PC. OK to unplug.". Don't think it was charging. At least there was no such indication on the screen. |

Thought of that but didn't know if the power output matched. But if you have successfully charged yours without toasting it then I will give that a go |

Yup, as long as it's the iPhone (small 3 pin plug 5w) and not iPad (larger 12w) one then it'll be fine ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
