I am stuck between getting a none HST but with rear HST bumper fitted to a TDV8, paying about 18K on 2008 with 85k miles or trying to find an original HST.
Or findind a good TDV8 and fitting HST numbers etc

All depends what is important to you, if you dont need the lockable diff etc, and its the look you want...save money and just get an HSE with a HST body kit. When looking for a RRS (id already had a 1st edition with 2012 conversion) i desided the only one i would even consider was a TDV8 HST because of the power economy and the look. I found plenty of HSE models advertised as HSTs because they had a front or rear bumper added. I cant think of a car id rather have at the mo. Yeah I love the HST rear and 2010 front. And the electronic diff would no doubt be never used so doesn't have to be a HST.
Will post some links to cars in a couple of hours, get some opinions

you sure, as no one else gets that mileage, unless you never take it over 2000 rpm ?

even LR over-blown estimates are not that good
