United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

I had a Freelander as a loan car recently. I was somewhat underwhelmed and very glad to get back in my RRS to be honest.

I Had a Evoque at the end of June

Spent 10 mins trying to find out how to program the satnav

Then realised it didn't have satnav, a range rover without even the basic of basics what ever next Laughing

I could go buy a low level FL2 and get satnav but spend extra to get a different body put on the line at Halewood and they replace the satnav for a range rover badge

Totally wrong in my opinion, more wrong than 2WD LRs

I know what you mean Nick - I pressed all the phone buttons today trying to pair mine then realised they must be cosmetic on this model Rolling Eyes

I can put up with most things but a 2wd land rover is just wrong on so many levels Shocked Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Scotland 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Was given same FL2 model as a courtesy car a few months ago whilst mine was in for servicing, and to be honest I didn't like it one bit at all. Too unrefined, small, very basic and just felt low quality inside.

Have now got use of an Evoque right now whilst mine is in for some warranty work. Although it's better than the FL2, it's not a patch on my RRS IMO. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool

2012 RRS SDV6 HSE -Orkney Grey with A/B bodykit - Now Gone Sad
2007 RRS TDV6 HSE - Zermatt Silver - Gone

The problem is you're comparing a vehicle that costs half to a vehicle that costs double so it should be better Confused Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

You do have a point. If was to buy a FL2 sized car i would go for the BMW X3. A much better car IMO. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool

Yes, you nailed it Jas. Could have been a Kia or something. Very plastic fantastic. No centre console even.

Sharp brakes though, and quite nippy.
