United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Fuji White
Could be newbie!!

Hi All,

Wife is making me move house and have to sell my year old Jaguar XF Big Cry Big Cry
So as compensation, I am going to get an RRS petrol. Looking around £16K so I guess 2005 or 2006?

Is there anything I should look out for?

What are must have toys etc?

Things I have seen advertised, but not sure if they are standard are things like

Adaptive cruise control.
Heated front and rear seats
Sunroof
Adaptive bi xenon headlamps with follow me home function
Electric power folding mirrors
Touchscreen sat nav
Factory upgraded 10 way harmon hifi
Power boot button
Extended leather
Clear view pack
Memory pack
Cold climate pack
Premium ice pack

Can anyone detail what's standard, what's optional and what the packs mean?

Many thanks!!!!

There are two petrols if you are going for a 2005 or 6. the 4.4 NA or 4.2 Supercharged. The supercharged is only very slightly less efficient but has a lot more power.

As far as I'm aware for the supercharged the following are standard or options:

Adaptive cruise control. Standard
Heated front and rear seats Standard
Sunroof Option
Adaptive bi xenon headlamps with follow me home function Standard
Electric power folding mirrors Standard
Touchscreen sat nav Standard
Factory upgraded 10 way harmon hifi Standard
Power boot button Not available
Extended leather Not available
Clear view pack, if this is heated screen and mirrors then its standard
Memory pack Standard
Cold climate pack I don't know what it is, probably heated everything apart from steering wheel, if it is then it's standard
Premium ice pack Standard, it's the HK audio

They are fantastic cars but I'm struggling to see the logic in selling a year old XJ, surely you will lose a lot of money in 1st year depreciation?

Hi,

Cheers for that, yes it's 4.2 I am looking at.
It's the monthly payments, currently £550 a month with £30K to go. Car valued trade in at £30k so hand it back and no penalty, although loose £9k deposit.
The RRS would be added to the new mortgage so no monthly payments and spread over the 25 years.

The car I am looking at deffo says power boot button and extended leather

I guess they must be options then.

I know!!! The XF has lost £12K in a year. But obviously they will sell it at about £36k so only depreciated £6K

I would like to know if power boot button is an option and what is it and what's extended leather!?

Hi ya,

Might have take you up on that!

What's the deal with "first editions" ???

Can the RRS be coded? I mean I used to code BMW for options that have been fitted. So for example if I wanted to fit original rear screens etc
