Collecting on Monday: Supercharged's smaller brother

Yes it's a Supercharged, although missing a couple of litres vs the big boys but it still goes well and sounds very nice.

It was in prep all week and is promised to be ready by Monday so fingers crossed.

It's an ex-demo 3.0 Supercharged HSE Dynamic in Chile with 21" style 15 wheels. I've ordered an English manual as in German it would be a pain, in French I could manage but as it's coming from "up Norf" then a new manual made sense. Dog guard is also being delivered and installed and it looks like I'll have to mod the lower boot catch cover after reading a post on here, think I'll just remove the spring loaded plastic flap, it won't look as neat but at least my dogs will still have feet Rolling Eyes

Lots to learn once I pick it up and only a few days to play before going off on hols but summer is here and should have a bit more time to tinker. Got a few questions to ask now….

Will get some pictures up next week when I'm back.

Mine were parked high up the screen when I called my car in March. The dealer lowered them but I might get them lowered a bit more! Confused Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

Most accurate rendition of Chilli that I have seen on my (colour calibrated) monitor. What interior have you gone for?

It's a pity that this engine is not available in the UK as an alternative to the SDV6; we are so consumed with fuel costs here, completely forgetting that running costs are dwarfed by depreciation. It will be interesting to know what MPG you get. Mark

Interior is Ebony/Lunar with Ebony headlining and Alu dash finish.

So far I covered around 400km and my average is 28mpg which I'm more than happy with as petrol is still cheaper than diesel here so it actually works out as being the same as my previous Discovery 4 in terms of overall fuel costs. Also although the emissions are higher than my D4, as the RRS2 has stop/start then the tax comes out the same, in summary I've gained 100bhp and a faster revving engine for no additional fuel and tax costs.
