The HST's replacement...

Had it over a month now, it's a Mercedes ML 420 V8 CDI Sport with full AMG kit. It's very very similar to how the Q7 'felt'. Probably the biggest immediate difference is fuel economy; I've had 35 mpg on a country road run.

Here's a photo:

The wheels are 22" Lorinser RS9's.

All being well I want to be in a facelift Sport in six-twelve months.

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green

A couple of reasons;
1. Always fancied a W164 ML V8 CDI and I was offered this one at a price I couldn't really refuse, this tied in with the reason below.

2. A decent facelift RRS is circa £23-25k and I didn't want to tie that amount of money in a depreciating asset, I'd prefer to use some of the profits from the sale of one of my house renovations that I've got on at the minute (four and counting up to press). I did contemplate leasing a new one but I like to own my cars and pay cash.
