If I switch on the radio whilst the engine isn't running then it only stays on for 5mins then switches off, is it possible to extend this period ?

Usually I have found this to have been 1hr on most other cars.

20mins for a brew ? that must be a Cheshire thing down Sarf it would be at least an hour…

The previous reference was my Discovery but perhaps it was more like 30mins but 5mins is way too short.

Will be back in Cheshire in a few weeks at my folks place, may even go fishing if I've got time.

Have the same problem with MY13 - so annoying

'tis annoying, especially when watching the footy. My first Sport (06) used to go into 'Low Power Mode' when the engine was off, which restricted volume to save the battery. 

Ok so I spend £50k+ on a luxury car with a TV but I can't watch it while I drive..... so the only time I can benefit is say when I'm waiting for OH doing some shopping for example and say the football is on......
