Blood Service Desperately Need Your Donation!

Blood service wrote to me weeks ago asking me to donate so I go to book an appointment online but none available - have been before without an appointment and you can say goodbye to half a day so decided to miss this one. Phone then starts to ring daily as though someone is trying to sell double glazing but it was Blood Service telling me they are desperate for me to donate because I'm 0- Embarassed

I explained there were no appointments left but was told they would find one because they are so desperate and if they couldn't make me an appointment I was to turn up and show my card to be given priority - can imagine how that would go down with people waiting ages Confused

Anyway got a call back and an appointment so turned up today as arranged to find a room full of nurses but no equipment turned up so session cancelled Thud

Doesn't surprise me Muddy.

I was regular donor for years but got a serious telling off when I last went as I had stopped eating red meat and drank too much coffee. Haven't been back since although the prospect of a room full of nurses does have its attraction. Thumbs Up FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Edit - Actually now I think about it I'll pass on the room full of overweight nurses - but if you're into that sort of thing - fill you're boots - whatever floats you're boat Whistle Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Bali Blue

i used to attend regularly for years also and to be honest i would still go but unfortunatley due to me having to take anti malaria drugs i cannot donate. Not sure about a room full of nurses ...... more like dracula's,, i'm sure some of them used to take great delight in causing as much pain as possible when sticking you with a needle.
"Just a small scratch " ....... aye, that'll be right Laughing Laughing 2010 RRS, TDV8
bali Blue / colour coded
side steps / flappy paddles
black perforated leather
22" overfinch
