You can set the distance for forward alert between 50 to 400 metres as far as I can remember, never really gelled with the system as I could never get used to the car slowing down as was changing lanes. I suspect the sensor was heavily steamed to get the dead flies off and some water has got somewhere it shouldn't 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Have to disagree, forward alertt is a great bit of safety kit. If you drive normally you will never know it's on but the minute you are not braking and there's a car ahead it lets you know. Best example is coming towards a roundabout, alls clear to the right, you ease off the brake and at the last minute you realise the car in front has remained stopped. Forward alert would warn you of this instantly! Brilliant idea. |

Just been out in it again, it was just the forward alert switched on so everything is fine.

Andi, general idea is you look at car ahead not what's coming round the roundabout |

Couldn't agree more, but accidents happen, if it stops one it's a great idea. |

I agree that forward alert is useful. It's like having the wife sat constantly with me and usually only bleeps when I've left braking late. |

+ 1 for Forward Alert. I really like it. Gives me a smidge of extra peace of mind in busy city traffic while I'm fiddling with the radio. |
