At least here in the UK, Xenons have to come with headlight wash and self-levelling to reduce dazzle to other drivers. So any fitment of xenon headlamp units (would cost a fortune) might have to include these elements as well. Mark

I opted for Xenons as part of the $3000 Comfort package on my SE. Have to say they're great on low beam but very disappointing on high beam. Nowhere as good as my old Sport. Friend of mine has halogens and has since had MLR fit a pair of light forces on a Bushranger X bar which fitted where the number plate is. They had to reinforce a bit but friend says they work really well. Cost him $1400 a lot less than the comfort pack which had stuff I didn't really want.

Speak to Peter Snieg (Sniegy) at MLR sister company of ULR. He's the one who fitted my friends Lightforce lights. Really nice bloke, an enthusiast and very helpful. RRS P460e

Had a tip from Rex Gorrell LR dealer to try replacement halogens and was recommended Phillips as they are supposed to be 60-100% brighter, I think the following are compatible and seem to have good reviews:
